Perioperative Blood Recovery & Acute Normovolemic Hemodilution

This lecture will address two approaches to providing autologous blood for patients undergoing surgery, perioperative salvage and acute normovolemic hemodilution (ANH). The technical and clinical aspects will be discussed as well as the indications, advantages, disadvantages, and possible complications.
